Privacy Policy
How the FieldNav - Military GPS app processes your data.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Kandyb Studio, contact: hello@kandyb-studio.eu.
2. What data we collect
The app does not require an account or sign-in.
- GPS Location — used in real-time for position display and navigation, stored locally only when the user saves a waypoint or track
- User-generated content: waypoints, routes, tracks (local SQLite database)
- App settings (locally, shared_preferences)
Your data stays locally on your device, except in the cases described below.
3. Who we share data with
- OpenStreetMap (serwery kafli) (Zależnie od dostawcy kafli (UE/świat)) — downloading online map tiles.
- Esri / ArcGIS Online (USA) — downloading online topographic and satellite map tiles.
We do not sell your data. Each subprocessor processes data only to the extent necessary for the app to work.
4. Advertising
The app does not show ads and does not use an advertising identifier.
5. Data retention
Data remains locally on the device until deleted by the user or the app is uninstalled. No app server, no accounts, and no logs on the provider side.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure (the “right to be forgotten”), restriction, data portability, objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To delete your data/account see Data / account deletion.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children; it is a navigation tool (age category 4+).
8. Additional information
The app does NOT collect analytics, does NOT display ads, does NOT use IDFA, and does NOT integrate RevenueCat or other tracking SDKs. The only network traffic is fetching online map tiles from OpenStreetMap/Esri — their servers receive the device's IP address and the coordinates of the viewed area (standard for online maps). In offline mode (MBTiles), there is no network traffic.
