Privacy Policy
How the PFE Coach app processes your data.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Kandyb Studio, contact: pfecoach@kandyb-studio.eu.
2. What data we collect
The app requires an account (sign-in).
- All study content and progress (answers, review schedule, notes) are saved LOCALLY on the device in an SQLite database by default
- If the user logs in: email address, display name, and user identifier from the selected login provider
- If the user logs in: a backup of study data (answers, FSRS schedule, EPB notes) in their private cloud space (Cloud Firestore)
- Diagnostic crash data (Crashlytics) — only after giving consent in settings
3. Who we share data with
- Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) (USA (SCC)) — login and account management.
- Cloud Firestore (Google LLC) (USA (SCC)) — synchronization of study data backup for logged-in users.
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) (USA (SCC)) — crash reports (optional, with consent).
- Logowanie Google / Apple / Facebook (Meta) (USA (SCC)) — user authentication (selected by the user).
We do not sell your data. Each subprocessor processes data only to the extent necessary for the app to work.
4. Advertising
The app does not show ads and does not use an advertising identifier.
5. Data retention
Local data — until the app is uninstalled or the account is deleted in the app. Cloud data (for logged-in users) — until the account is permanently deleted by the user. Crash logs (Crashlytics) — approx. 90 days.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure (the “right to be forgotten”), restriction, data portability, objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To delete your data/account see Data / account deletion.
7. Children
Not directed at children. The target audience is adult USAF airmen. No collection of children's data.
8. Additional information
Logging in is optional and serves exclusively for synchronization/backup across devices. The app works fully offline without an account. No ads, no tracking (no IDFA, no ATT tracking), data is not sold or used for marketing profiling.
